The labour market around the world is changing drastically. A report of World Economic Forum says that there is expected to be a loss of 5 million jobs due to demographic and technological changes.  The report published in 2016 titled “The Future of Jobs” by World Economic Forum predicts the labour market scenario upto 2020.The job market is predicted to get a huge makeover and new and varied jobs are likely to have a rise. 1.    Data Analyst: With the generation of real time data every second due to the internet revolution, there is expected to be a huge demand for data analysts in near future. The skills required for data analysis are IT skills, quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning.
2.    IT Integrated Jobs: The job of computer programmers, software testers, software developers is likely to be in the boom. Skill specialists focused on nano-technology, robotics, microbiology etc, are also expected to see good openings.
3.    Sales positions: sales and marketing are ever   green professions. Technology disruptions continue to create demand for expert sales professionals who are able to generate sales in the cut throat competitions and create a distinct market for the company.
4.    Product Designers: Creativity will have its own space all the way. Till 2020 demand for product designers will continue to rise. Innovation being the underlying benchmark for success.
5.    Human Resource specialists and Senior Managers:-The demand for human resource management will continue to remain as the job market is set to be ruled by skilled manpower. The role of human resource managers will be redefined in trying to recruit, retain and train the best man for the job. Senior managers will be needed to give the right direction to the company.
6.    Supply Chain managers:- The role of supply chain effectiveness will be significant at a time when business is moving from brick and morter to click and morter. It is the right time to specialize in supply chain management practices to join the businesses.
Overall analysis says that the business in the next three years is moving towards highly specialized expertise. It is time for people seeking jobs to acquire the right skills and the right aptitude for the jobs. A learner will find his place and also grow as the trend is towards jobs that will require highly adoptable manpower. It is time to take a career test before embarking on a career path.
